Watch what you say

One of my new year’s resolutions was to:
2- Be careful of what I say and how I say it. Words can have irreversible impacts on others and I sometimes seem to shoot from the hip without giving it a second glance. People deserve better, I can do better.

So this seemed quite fitting (from the Ripples Project):

Tact is the knack of making a point without making an enemy.

Speak prudently:
cautiously to your rivals, and
with dignity to everyone else.
There is always time to utter a word,
and never time to take it back…

  1. Oddly, even though this is sound advice, I expect a certain amount of understanding when I may not phrase something precisely.. Usually a puzzled look is enough to clue me to clarify!

  2. PS: “Jacarandoso” sí es una mexicanada y significa algo así como “alegrón”, “ajetreado”, “colorido”… como dijeran por allá “bacano” (o “vacano”, no sé) o “chévere”… 🙂

  3. buffalodick – :S is this puzzled enough? ; )La Blu – o sea, algo asi como pintoresco?

  4. You can never go bad with Gracián
