August Rush

I saw August Rush over the weekend and absolutely loved it. Thanks Mond for recommending it. It has this spiritual undertone to it all enraptured in the magic and beauty of music. I was tearing up at the end. Take a look:

Tuesday Diet Update: weighing 131 lbs today and have been for a few days. 5.5 lbs down, 9.5 to go! The strange thing though was that I weighed 129 lbs on Sunday, and had been going down every day since I started, but then I went back to 131 and have been there for 2 days… what’s up with that?

  1. wow, down 5.5 already! i can’t weigh myself that often, it would drive me nuts because i fluctuate so much. but you are inspiring me to lose weight as well. good luck, and keep up the good work!

  4. Well, I’ve heard that August Rush is filled with calories, so that might account for the weight gain.

  5. Haven’t seen the movie, and you said you teared up… I try my BEST not to see teary movies. I think Beaches did me in for tears and movies! 🙂 Don’t worry babe.. remember, weight can fluctuate up to 5 pounds DAILY based on water retention alone!!

  6. bex – I weigh myself everyday, I know, I know, but what can I say? You should go for it, once decided to do it, it’s not that hard.mond – it is! I loved it! I didn’t know that.

Bueno, la verdad no estoy haciendo nada extraordinario, mas que comer a las mismas horas, cero chucherias entre comidas, nada de dulces (snif) y de cena solo frutas o lonjas de pavo. Asi que el desayuno es cereal con leche descremada, o yogurt descremado con frutas. El almuerzo es generalmente pollo con arroz, o ensalada con pollo, o un sandwich. Y la cena, frutas, o proteinas (quesos light). Mucha agua, ejercicio de vez en cuando (tengo que mejorar en esto), y ya.
